Random owl

Here's a little owl I worked on last weekend. I was searching for an easy craft to do a video tutorial of for a friend. It took me all morning and afternoon, shooting little clips on my camera, editing the clips together on my computer, and uploading the clip online...

what I worked on today... + under a white cloud = little owlet

oh, i like the brown pigeons, too! i mean, the other ones are totally rats with wings, but the brown ones seem classier somehow.

He he I agree about the other pigeons! They're too pushy to be likeable - always chasing each other and pecking at birds smaller than them - bullies!

The brown pigeons do seem calmer somehow! :)

ha! i love your list flor, did you feel liberated after all the dancing you did?

Ha ha, I did, Claudia! It's the main reason why, if I ever have kids, I want to try SO hard not to be too strict. I found myself wanting to do the dumbest things, growing up, just because I was told I couldn't do them.

And I found, certain things were so much fun, and such a perfect part of my life, I was just sad I hadn't done them before... I know my parents had the best intentions, but what can I say, I loved dancing. :)

oh, i know how that feels, my parents were pretty stricted too. my parents were hardcore on mexican tradition (not so much anymore), i'm sure you know what that means, so i too did some really dumb things, just because they said not to do them. i also worry about putting certain restrictions on the boys, even at their age. i wonder if they'll hate me for it when they grow up. i agree, i think that everything they did was on their best interest for us... parenting is a tough job :)

It's so tough, I'm sure I'd be crummy! ;) I think there should definitely be some restrictions - but yeah it was kinda rough being in the traditional Mexican family, eh? The men have to be served first, you eat standing up while you're cooking? I think not! ;D

Your kiddos definitely won't hate you! I think we all get to a point where we just "grow up" and "get over it" and realize we're all imperfect, but at least we can love each other!

that owl is adorable, flor!
people do the same thing to me (bonus random things).
people constantly say I look "familiar" and "do I know you"
I ALWAYS answer "no."
the only famous people I was accused of looking like are Liv Tyler and Jessica Beal.
yeah, right!

Ha ha, between the 2 of us we'll look like everybody! :) But wow, Liv Tyler and Jessica Biel? You must be a total fox, Kalurah!!! :)
