I've been doodling ideas for awhile now for a little project I have coming up... this afternoon we finally got some sunshine so I sat down at a sunny table and crafted them up. These are all very small hoops - I used some dark blue corduroy from some pants I'm not digging anymore...
I have piles of old mother-of-pearl buttons which I finally used for this menorah:
I wanted to keep everything as simple as possible, using very basic stitches and only one color of thread:

I really like them! I like the color choices and the simplicity, and they look especially nice as a group. Well done!
i absolutely love them! simple & beautiful!
Pretty!
Very cute. I love the simplicity, too!
Gorgeous! I love the stitching on a textured fabric. Beautiful!
And I love the menorah - what an awesome idea! It would be fun to make one sans button flames and then add a button each day during Hanukkah ...
Beautiful work, as always, Flor! :)
They look very elegant...and the colours work well together..brilliant
I really love the white on black, these are fantastic, I also love all the things you're doing with the mini hoops, so fun!
Love, love, lovely!
They're so beautiful! The cord texture is just perfect, and I love how you've used different thread thicknesses for the snowflakes, but still kept the stitches really simple.
Is also good to see holiday-themed projects which aren't red, green, gold or in any way sparkly!
Very cool ideas! I love the snowflakes!
Very good idea, I like them a lot! The simplicity is beautiful!
I really like them - I love subtle holiday decorations.
I love the contrast of the dark fabric and light thread. It is bold and subtle at the same time. The snowflakes are my favorite.
Brilliant! I posted a link to your post on my blog this morning. I hope it brings you a few extra clicks.

I like these a lot! I like the simplicity and the mother of pearl buttons on the menorah is just perfect. You're so thrifty to recycle those cords.

I especially love the snowflakes {although, they're all great, don't get me wrong!}. And I love the cord material - the combination just really reminds me of being a kid & playing out in the snow...so sweet & inspiring!
I love them, and I love your blog, just stumbled across it today, it's gorgeous!
Lovely work!
Omg I love them. What a wonderful idea.
i feel inspired!
I love them -- I always liked the combination of blue and white for the holidays, and of course one can never have too many buttons.
You've definitely given me some ideas.
