Okay, so I'm not totally finished. I still need to wash this (to remove the transfer pencil lines) and decide if it will be a pillow or a wall hanging. I'm undecided so far, as I think both would be nice.
Maybe I should leave it up to the person who'll be receiving it? Let's pretend you are that person - which would you prefer? I loved doing this project so much that I already started on another Badbird pattern. And I'm super-excited about that one!
both wld be nice but I think a wall hanging does the piece more justice.
ReplyDeletebravo!
Wooow amazing and sooo cool!!!
ReplyDeleteLove it!
Good Job!
She is oh so beautiful! I vote for a wall hanging.
ReplyDeleteWow-that is a LOT of work! It turned out beautiful Floresita. I think it would look great either as a wall hanging or framed piece. Good job!!!
ReplyDeleteReally awesome! You are inspiring to a major procrastinator.
ReplyDeleteI think a wall hanging would really be the best way to display this work of art.
It is fabulous! I would want a wall hanging. It would be safe from my Frenchie who loves to nest in pillows and nap.
ReplyDeleteI love it! I definitely vote for wall-hanging.
ReplyDeleteHow do you wash your hand-stitching to remove transfer lines? Gently hand washing? I'm always so scared to mess mine up by getting it wet when I'm done!
Thanks everybody! These votes are helping me decide! :)
ReplyDeleteAnd Sarah - I'm pretty rough with my embroidery - I'll probably just throw it in the wash with my whites. I've had a good experience in the past of all my embroidery coming out fine.
Wow!! Wonderful work!! I would just love both options!
ReplyDeleteI think I would chose a wall hanging. The outline just screams wall hanging. Great Job!!!!
